stories of survival in bankruptcy?

Me-30k in cc debt, all the accused for about 3 years. The plan was to save, to negotiate myself and pay only make about 35k/yr, and almost all need to survive in this God forsaken town (LA). I studied the options for years, not interested in one of "consolidation companies." I'm about to file Ch.7, because I really do not see any other way, because, literally, I could take 10 years to save enough to pay my credit and still lost. I hope to hear some people who have submitted in the past. One of my friends had made about 10 years, and she said she was certain offers DC after 1st year after discharge, and after about 3 years, she had rebuilt their score to a decent level. Of course, the BK shows for 10 years, but if you can get your score in a few years back, it would open the way to go. Anyone have experience of leaving a BK, and it was the right thing to do? Thank you very much.

I declared bankruptcy 6 years ago I have yet another two years left, I still regret the decision bankrupty to declare, because it really made my life much more difficult. I am always hard to get a loan based on when I need and I end up paying rates much higher interest rates when doing so. They say that people can not use the information prebankruptcy against him, but they do anyway.
