How soon I can get a mortgage?

How long must I have my house to get a mortgage? Want get one, but not sure if you can give me, because I've been home for 5 years. Are there limits? Appreciate your help. Ivan.

You can request a day after the original writing and the mortgage is recorded (in the case, you can request one at a time to request a first mortgage). No deadlines. The main stumbling block is real equity in the house (especially with the fall in prices in the last 18 months).
